For the week beginning Sunday, May 10, 2020… Happy Mother’s Day!
When have you sacrificed something important to you for a higher cause? We celebrate people who willingly sacrifice for a greater cause. Paul told the Roman believers that Christians were also called to live as sacrifices. Focus on Romans 12:1-2 and 9-18 in your Bible and read the comments for session 11 in your Explore the Bible Personal Study Guide. How does a person’s attitudes, actions, and desires demonstrate a commitment to Christ?
How dependent is your forgiveness on someone else’s apology? How do we forgive someone who has hurt us? Can you forgive the person who infected a loved one with the Coronavirus? It’s hard and seems counter-intuitive but forgiveness is always the right thing to do. Join us this week as we take on this difficult topic.

Worship Through Singing
CALL TO WORSHIP
[Psalm 35:27-28 ESV] 27 Let those who delight in my righteousness shout for joy and be glad and say evermore, “Great is the LORD, who delights in the welfare of his servant!” 28 Then my tongue shall tell of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.
Worship Through Giving
In an effort to provide our church members and our supporters a convenient and consistent way to contribute, an online giving portal is now available. Thank you for your generosity!
Worship Through Ministering of the Word
[Jeremiah 9:23-24 ESV] 23 Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD.”
How can we pray for you?
