Think back to when you were a kid. When the time came to choose players for kickball, how quickly were you picked? Were you one of the first or were you one of the last to be picked? All of us want to be included. The good news is God includes all who come to Him in faith. Paul reminded his readers that salvation through faith in Jesus is available to everyone.
Read Romans 11:17-32 in your Bible and the comments for session 10 in your Explore the Bible Personal Study Guide. Think about how your relationship with Jesus affects how you view others.

Adult— Explore the Bible (5/3/20)

For many, these past few weeks of social distancing have provided extra time at home. Many are putting that time to good use by trying their hand at something new. Have you learned any new skills? Taken up a new hobby? Most times, the simplest way to learn a new skill is to watch someone else complete it. As the old adage goes: Some things are more caught than taught. And Barnabas is someone worth watching. By his example, he showed us three ways we can encourage others. Join our discussion this week as we dig into Acts 9 and 11!

Worship Through Ministering of the Word

AUDIO: “Trust the Lord” Proverbs 3:5-6, part 2

[Psalm 37:3-6 KJV] 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; [so] shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass. 6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

Benediction read by Rev. Mike Holman

How can we pray for you?

[John 16:33 CSB] 33 “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.”

“The true gospel is a call to self-denial. It is not a call to self-fulfillment”
